Through my experiences this quarter, I learned the importance of persistence and asking for help when I'm struggling. I made use of online tutorials and peer discussions to improve my understanding of networking concepts. I also learned that breaking down tasks into smaller steps can help make large projects more manageable. I’ve also learned that digital literacy goes beyond just using tools; it's about understanding how those tools and technologies work behind the scenes. At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of tags and their specific functions. It felt like a whole new language! But as I started to break it down, the logic became clearer.   Violence against women (VAW) remains a pervasive global issue, affecting millions and hindering progress towards gender equality. The Philippines, like many nations, has enacted legislation to combat this problem. This discussion will focus on two key Republic Acts—RA 8353 (The Anti-Rape Law of 1997) and RA 7877 (The Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995)—examining their significance in addressing different forms of VAW and their impact on promoting women's safety and rights. RA 8353, the Anti-Rape Law of 1997, represents a landmark piece of legislation in the Philippines.   Elpidio Quirino: The Quiet Leader of the Philippines   October is the month which is celebrated as the National Indigenous Peoples of the Philippines month. It is to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA). The this year’s theme is “Mga Katutubo at Katutubong Dunong: Pahalagahan, Pangalagaan at Parangalana,” which in English is Valuing, Nurturing, and Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Knowledge.
